Had a nice day on the water today (even though I didn't catch any). Conditions seemed ideal. Water was a little high with enough color that the fish wouldn't be spooky, but not so much the fish couldn't see the fly.

Four of us fished hard for 7 hours. Between us we had about 6 takes and one fish landed.

There was snow on the ground when we arrived, but none when we left. I think the melting snow cooled the water enough to make the fish sluggish.
