Codorus Creek TT 3/27/07

Finally broke the winter blues! Fished the Codorus today from about 9:30 until 1. Water is still really cloudy, and running a little high but I managed to catch one high jumping 15" brown, first of the season.
I've never seen a brown jump the way this one did, must of did a four foot vertical leap on the first jump, and the other five were nearly impressive. Must'a thought he was a flying fish!

I caught him on a red san jaun worm above the railroad bridge. I had started down at the steps (the parking spot right along the railroad tracks) and worked almost down the the twin bridges without so much as a nibble. Then went above the sawmill, starting just above the RR bridge and working up to the spillway.
Still really tough fishing.
