Since my daughters birthday fell on Father's Day, I had to forgo fishing somewhere with ideal conditions, and stayed close to home. The streams were low and clear, the air temps cool (70's) and the water 66-68. Mixed clouds and sun, and a light breeze. Started around nine and finished late afternoon, with a burger stop after the first morning stint. Moved my truck several times and discovered a nice spot I had never visited before. The fish were mostly in fast pockets, especially where there was frothy stuff. No real hatches, though there were a lot of small black stones on the rocks, around an 18. Short lined a caddis pups and an ant the whole time, and ended up with a handful of trout from each creek. About an even mix of rainbows and browns, nothing much over 12''. Not a bad day, and a good spot for future reference.
