Went to the Mt Holly Springs area and scouted Mountain Creek and the upper reaches of the Yellow Breeches. Though not much in general, for this time of year I saw a surprising amount of rises on both streams. Fished the Breeches and caught 3 on spun deer hair beetles while they fed on midges. What an enjoyable day as it doesnt get much nicer weather wise. Also caught a chub that was pushing 15" that had my hopes up for a minute on a crayfish pattern.
Hey... its the end of december. I'll take it.
