Cool. I had wondered if you had been throwing Mickey Finns or something with a bit of red or yellow in mid winter....

I must try olive over white more often for brookies, I guess the more realistic flies pick up the larger ones.

Based on the described ST and RT behavior, the RT were not feeding on eggs that would have survived. They "mised" the redd.
