Another Tulpulhocken Report from 12/17/06

Got to the stream around 10:30 and there were 6 other cars already at the bridge below the hatchery. I went further down stream where there were no people and started catching on about the 5th cast. Just like the other guys have been saying, there are a lot of fish. I caught at least 20 and missed even more. Everyone I saw was catching fish. The largest rainbow I got was around 18" and all the others were at least 10". Eggs were working best for me with a BH prince and baetis each catching a few. I've never seen more cress bugs in my life. Thousands and thousands of them everywhere.

If you need a day full of constant action, fish the Tully below the limestone springs hatchery.
