We are into the dog days of summer. I have been seeing alot of Beatles along with ants and small medium grass hoppers. Tricos seem spotty. White flys should start in August. I have seen them as early as Aug. 5 th and as late as the last week of Aug. for starting times in the C and R area. You will need to fish right at and after dark with Dun and spinner patterns. I will not post the exact time I see the hatch starting due to over crowding. My wifes birth day is August 22 so this is a good day to fish (I will not be on the stream). This is a good example of a hatch starting on the lower end and working up steam. Good luck and be safe.

I hit Allenberry this morning - YB looks very good: higher than normal flow, slight stain, and water temp of 63 at 10:30am. Although I had to work hard to get a couple fish, there were some beetles in the vines along the banks. I didn't see tricos but was probably on the water too late.

I talked to Gizza this afternoon and he was in C and R area also.He did not see many Tricos either. I was A few miles down stream and they were heavy. Just about as good as I have ever seen them.
