Things are looking up
Down that is. While the reservoir temps are still high, with continued cold nights they should be dropping in the near future. I would definitley still advise staying away from the couple of miles below the dam, but the rest of the river is cooling down nicely.
For surface bugs, bring bwo's, Iso's, golden stones (8), and terrestrials. You'll also find plenty of cream midges and you may find a pod or two sipping them as well, especially in the late afternoon. Fish bugs underneath to match as well as any of your favorite nymph patterns.
