It snowed yesterday but still some good fishin
Welcome to NW PA were the weather can change quickly and it did. But we did have a few days of some good fishing, before this snow moved in. according to the weather man, it should be back up in the high 50s by the beginning of next week. The driving may not be the best but the reports I am hearing are the fishing is still pretty good. There are reportedly a good number of fish in all the creeks, and the anglers seem to be using just about everything for bait depending on the time of day. The average size on ElK Creek are about 8 pounders with a report of a 15 pounder being caught. Steve Bruger from Lake Erie Ultimate Angler says the numbers have never been better. The lake has been way to rough to get on but there are fish being taken out of the bay area. Most of the steelhead are further inland and the perch fishing is good at the North, East and West piers. Until the lines start freezing keep the bait flying and the steelhead jumpin.
