Cumberland valley stream conditions

Most of are streams are up and the Yellowbreeches is muddy. It is calling for rain the next 2 days so this will limit your fishing. I would chose a spring creek like the Letort or Bigsprings. Try the mid section and work up to the source for clear water. If you know were that big guy is use a large streamer in a dark color. I like sculpins and testelated darters for this type of fishing. Make sure you have cress bugs and shrimp patterns. You can run into some rising fish so be prepared. The main Sulphurs are over but have a few size 18s incase there are a few stragglers left. The Breeches could see Gray Fox and Light Cahills and a size 16 creamy tan caddis. I do not think the Breeches will clear by the weekend but the upper water will be first to clear,anything above Mt. creek is your starting point. Hope this helps and good fishing.
