Pike and Muskie Fly Rod

Anybody ever fish a Hurricane Redbone fly rod? They are made for saltwater, but I'm thinking about picking up a 9' 9/10 - wt for the toothy fish. They are made with IM7 graphite are supposedly "fast" in action. I could find only a few reviews online.

All ten wts are not created equal. A great entry level rod would be the echo ion @ 189. The best I've thrown so far it the Beulah blue water 10/11 but its about 400.

The ion is a good beginner rod. The new designed ion 10wt. has a new blank it doesn't have a stiff of a tip like the old blanks. It will throw intwrmediate lines that was the ions achillies heel with the old ion blank. But I will say this the 1 I casted had soft cork and that's a weak point on all heavy wt. fly rods.
