Monongahela River- hatches and rises

Have been seeing lots of rises on the river the last few days while taking the subway to and from work, probably the drakes.

Might be a good time to give it a try with dries.

Not sure what you mean by drakes. But I've seen hexes flying around Pirate games at this time of year - from the allegheny river there.
And that would be my guess on the mon too.

Weird creatures in that Mon

Might try it where I can get a backcast like the park in the southside or where Streets Run or Becks Run flow in.

I am a graduate of Cal U. I had Dr Kimmel as my invertebrate zoology professor. He was an excellent teacher. I did not fish during my college years. Took up fly fishing in my mid 20's. Dr. Kiimmel fished the Little J. Good to see it is improving.
