French Creek or Perkiomen Creek?

Hey Guys,

I am looking to hit up a new body of water for some smallmouth action and was wondering what you guys knew about these two locations? I have looked into both and was wondering where some access points for these streams are. I have found some parks that are set along the creeks, but am guessing this is where the majority of the fishing is done and did not know if there were other places that I could start. I might just have to start at the parks and wade away from them. If you guys have any info on the creeks shoot me a PM....I am looking for something to do untill I can go try my hand at fly fishing for trout.

I'd go to the perk. Its not great but you should be able to catch some smallies and rock bass. I did catch a nice smallie about 16" at the perk last weekend. Like you said though just find access and walk up or down. There is a decent amount all the way to the skook

I agree w/ govtmule. Perk is my regular haunt. Just park and wade.

You could also try the schulkyll. Great bassnholes near linfield.
