I fished for about 2 hours yesterday evening. The topwater bite was superb. Tons of rockies and redbreasts in the typical places and lots of smallies rising in the main channel. The best smallies of the evening were tucked into the tiny protected coves mixed in with the smaller panfish. Best was only about 16". It is always a blast when your gurgler, Chernobyl ant, or popper gets attacked on nearly every cast though.
