furled leaders

Does anyone know of any special care instructions for furled leaders? Dry after each use, treatments etc? Didn't find anything in previous posts. Thanx

I didn't do much special with them, but I'm rough on my lines and leaders. I found they'd last a long time without doing anything special, aside from applying some floatant or frog's fanny now and then. I would run my thumbnail down them after fishing to get any gunk that may have gotten caught up in them.

Wash them like you would your fly line in a mild soap, ivory snow if available, then you can treat them with fly line conditioner to keep them supple and floating if you dry fly fish with them. If they are used mostly for nymphing, then skip the conditioner.
