As one who wears prescription lenses, I've tried a variety of clip-ons and fitovers over many years.

I highly recommend the Cocoons brand polarized glasses. They come in a variety of sizes including ones large enough to comfortably fit over my fairly large regular lenses. They're also available in yellow which is the best lens color in my experience but harder to find. Cocoons retail for around $40 or so and are available from the big boxes.

I take a gamble on whatever I can get relatively cheaply from Sierra Trading Post. The emphasis for me is cost, not brand. They usually last a season or two. I tried the 12.99 Walmart offerings and I don't know if the polarization was achieved through coating the lens or what, but they seemed to lose their polarization quickly.

I just got a pair of prescription polarized glasses for Christmas. Haven't had the chance to fish them yet, but my buddy Andrew swears by these glasses. Mine look great out of the box right now. They were only about $125 delivered when I ordered them at the end of November.

I got the Tidal model.

Thanks for the link, Albie. I've been looking for a pair of Rx sunglasses for fishing at a reasonable price. Let me know if they work well for you.

I Googled up some info on how to read an eyeglass prescription to enter into the site above.

I'd be leary of buying prescription glasses or sunglasses online. What if the centers aren't ground correctly, or the heights are cut wrong?

I wear progressive prescription lenses but I get by with Smith & Costa readers on the stream. Brown is the best lense color for me.

I got to fish with my prescription glasses Friday 28Dec. They were great! Nice to not have to worry about contacts or fit-overs. The only downside is that in low light conditions early or late I lose my corrective lenses if I remove my sunglasses. Guess I could carry my regular glasses along to solve that problem.

I got the copper lens. It's a little darker than I'd hoped, but acceptable. Lenses also come in grey and brown from Guideline.

I'm looking at Native eyewear. They have glasses with changeable lenses.

I bought a cheap pair of polarized glasses on a recent trip where I dropped my old ones and they got run over. Got some amber lenses and absolutely love them. Great for low light conditions. I wore them till almost sunset and saw great.

I wear cheapo walmart berkley polarized glasses. I get about 6 pairs a year. If i scratch em break em there only 5 bucks a pair.

I have tried on a pair of suncloud conductors and will be getting a pair. I was impressed.

I can't say enough good things about Costa Del Mar. I wear mine pretty much any time I'm outside, rain or shine. They do Rx. They're definitely expensive glasses but worth every penny.
