Labeling my stuff

I just perused the Lost & Found forum and thought I'd pass along what I do to increase the odds of getting my things back when I drop them...
Every year TU sends me a sheet of return address labels, presumably to be used in the event that I actually mail a letter through USPS.
Instead, I use those labels on nets, fly boxes, wading staff, etc. They're paper labels so they do wear down and are subject to water damage but I cover them with a piece of scotch tape and figure it's better than not labeling.

You can use rod wrap epoxy, head cement or even clear nail polish to cover the labels and make them more or less permanent.
