Wanted to share a cool, quick, cheap, and simple DIY fly line winder for cleaning and drying lines- or swapping lines from a reel you don't have an extra spoil for.
All you need is 10 bucks or so and one of your neighbors kids pool noodles!
Throw one in your car for cleaning your line at the end of the day and keep your expensive lines in tip top shape! Apparently this will wind 29 inches of line or so per rotation.

Most DIY line winders are way too complicated for such a simple task.
I may take it a step further and mount an old reel seat to the base to make things even easier. No problem!
