I’ve pretty well concluded this is the route I want to go for my backpacking rod. I usually like my small stream rods a little faster and heavier, but I like Redington rods, and I would kind of like to have one more moderate action rod anyway…in case the mood so catches me…two birds with one stone here. It’s too bad I didn’t come to this conclusion about 6 months ago when BPS and Cabelas were blowing these out for under $100. They still have some of the longer CT rods, but none of the shorter ones. I’m looking for this specific model only, new or in used, but good condition. PM me if you have one you’re willing to be rid of.

Check out Bass Pro in Harrisburg. I just picked up the 7'6" 2 weight for $99. They had 2 or 3 of the 7'6" 3 weights still available.

Thanks for the help guys. I hadn't been to BPS in store in a few months and figured they had to be out by now as there was nothing on their website for this model.

Thanks again Dog. Mods, I'm squared away with the rod, ok to delete.
