No sir, our budgets didn't meet. I figured he was gonna keep me on reserve for a last resort, and I'm entirely OK with that. Clearly, something better came along, you win some and you lose some.

I didn't want a 7'6" 5wt, but was willing to make an exception for a low cost Fine and Far.

It's a NEPA thing too, my father says it and it drives me looney...

Is it called something totally different where you are, or are you just making fun of the "r" at the end? I've said tape measurer before, I'll admit it. But I consider "tape measure", without the final r, to be the proper name for the thing. If that's still a yinzerism, well, then I am guilty. I have hung onto a few yinzerisms despite being removed from yinzerburgh (and thats with an h for sure) for close to 10 years.

or jagger bushes. Pronounced close to Jagr, both of which will be based out of Pittsburgh and ticking of Philidelphians in no time.

Jaggers is one I have definitely retained. Chipped ham is another. And I still carry the "ah" of Picksburghese. I'm a metallurgist, for Pete's sake, and I can't say iron! Just comes out "ah'n".

Better than Berks Countyisms, though. I about exploded when I first heard "outten the lights". Friggin jaggoffs! And I'm sorry, "yinz" may be bad, but "yous" is just as bad. If they call me a yinzer, I tell em it's better than a youser. :)

I have successfully escaped the whole pop/soda thing though. Just specify brand, problem solved, and nobody paints you as an outsider (cause lets face it, I'm now an outsider to everywhere).

Ya I was pretty amazed at the piss poor language skills of central PA. A-holes would come down to the South and make fun of speak/language. Get up here and no one knows how to use a preposition.

"I should get your drink awhile?"

"You want eggs with cheese in?"

"outten the lights" means turning off the lights?

Actually, Jack, being a lawyer, is a master of the English language. Here is what he meant...........
