I guess I am just gauging interest here. This reel came with a used rod that I bought, but I really have no use for it - and there is a point when you can have too many spares. I will post pics later tonight - but it's a black BBS III. Spooled with 5wt line and backing. It is used and has some scuffs and marks, but it works just fine. $65

Oooo... I may be interested. I have that exact reel and have been looking for a spare spool. If someone wants to jump on it though it is a pretty solid all around reel.

BBS is disc only. The click/pawl original Battenkills dissappeared a few years back, unfortunately. By the time the BBS came out, the click and pawl was gone - except for those special edition CFO's.

I don't see anywhere on the foot that it says that it's made in England. Trying to get my kids dinner and then I will get a pic posted.

Good, I couldn't afford it anyways.

You can ignore the PM, Peen.

Here are the pics. If anyone wants any specifics let me know. I don't know much about these reels.

Thats my exact reel, well, I think mine is the 3-5 wt verson rather than the 5-7 wt. It is a good solid reel, nice smooth disc drag, light in weight, drag stays where you put it, etc. For a standard arbor reel meant for a modern graphite stick, I can't think of anything where I think it's lacking. It's a workhorse. Mine is poorly cared for and beat to all heck, yet it works perfectly through it all.

Generally considered a step up from the standard disc-drag Battenkill. Machined > cast. Plus its a touch lighter. But same basic stuff otherwise.

New, it sells for around double the price being asked, and thats not including the line and backing. It is a great deal for someone.

I don't need it, though, just adding the review.
