Hey, just checking to see if any one of you addicts has a huge collection of hooks. Im seeking size 16 and size 18 wet nymph hooks to start learning to tie a little smaller. Just looking for 30-40 in each size and ill toss you a couple of bucks or something.

Go to your local fly shop and look for mustad hooks. you can get them usually for less than $10/100. When you get the $50 packs it may be more like $5.95. That is my goal when I buy hooks. If I have to pay over $.10/hook it grinds at me like sand in my undershorts.

Fly shops always steer me toward the 25 packs. They are like 6.95 per 25. Daiichi, Tiemco, etc. I'm like...gimme the cheapies.

Even the Mustads are going up in price but often fly shops have a surplus of older Mustads they need to get rid of at the older prices.

look around, call around, you can find them...I ain't gonna sell you mine.

Don't hit me with them negative waves so early in the morning. Think the bridge will be there and it will be there. It's a mother, beautiful bridge, and it's gonna be there. Ok?

I also use the Sabre hooks. I buy them on for $7 for 100. Free shipping on orders over $25 and it is usually at your door in 2-3 days.

The thing I like about escalators is that they can never be broken, they just become stairs. They have to put up a sign 'Escalator Temporarily Stairs, Sorry for the Convenience'.
