At this point, I'd consider selling my boat. It's well taken care of and kept stored inside when not being used. The paint is flaked off in many spots but it's an aluminum frame so there's no worry of rust. 7' oars, spare valve fittings. This is the "ST" model that offers a 15yr warranty on the toons and a lifetime warranty on the frame. The boats sell new for $899-999. PM to discuss reasonable offers. Jimmy, a used line a a finn isn't a good offer. LMAO

After using Dave's boat, I may have to 'thin the herd' and do an upgrade or go 1/2's on a drift boat.

You've bailed on the last 3 trips. I did fish. Oh, is that your offer. I sell you the boat for the honor of fishing with you? Hmmm, let me see if a better one comes along. LOL

Is the warranty transferrable?

Just got off the phone w/ Dave Scadden. The warranty DOES transfer. As long as the logo is on the boat and they can tell it's one of theirs, they'll cover it.

kray,

Kinda off topic but.... How serious are you about the drift boat? I know a guy in the Albany area that has one for sale, including trailer. Let me know if you want me to pass on the info.

There is a guy in Roscoe that has one I've had my eye on. Brandon may get to it before I do though. I'm thinking of getting a boat similar to the one DaveS has.

You have to understand that transporting one boat isn't a big deal. Stacking 2 for a 3.5 hr drive is a chore. Putting a third one on top of the car is a nightmare. I'm a sucker and wanted everyone to get the chance to float. I lent out boats. It's now time for the chicks to fly on their own. Basically, buy my boat or buy someone elses. I can't keep 2 extra pontoons to lend out. Entirely too much work for me. I'm all but giving them away for the prices I'm asking for. Getting rid of the spares just makes my life all that much easier.

DaveS had a nice boat, but I can't see any benefits over a drift boat. I'd go that route if I were you. Having a floor is nice, especially if you're fishing in cold weather.

So does this mean that Brandon's boat is for sale as well?

A pontoon type of boat can access many more launches and take outs compared to a hard sided boat. That's the real difference. I'm tossing around the idea of a drift boat. Josh will go 1/2's with me. I could even take the dog along! I want to fish out of one before saying yes though. Also, thinning the herd would free up some $$ to make the change. Help me sell those toons!

Shane,
My boat is WAAAAAY nicer than Brandon's old boat. No offense to B. Standing platform, larger rear deck and stock anchor system alone makes a big difference.

I know it is nicer, however it would be more expensive as well. Figured it would be a happy medium between yours and Fishcat.

Talk to me. PM an offer and we'll see where it goes. I feel bad selling his boat.

DISCLAIMER: The actual anchor is not included with any boat. I will sell it for an additional $55

You can keep the anchor I can make one for free. What do you want for the Scadden?
