2 Powell Timax fly rods a 909-4 and a 906-4, both are brand new. They have hard shell cases, both rods are 4 pieces. 250.00 dollars for both of them. I need a new tree stand. Any questions p.m.
Heritage angler knows about Powell fly rods.
Thanks Glenn

Tig - That's a really good deal on those rods. When I bought my 8wt TiMax, I paid more than you're selling both rods for.

The TiMax is a really good looking rod, and it has first rate hardware. They're fast action, and the blanks are very powerful. Powell rods have done very well in a lot of distance casting competitions, especially out West, where they're more popular.

Someone's gonna get a couple of real cannons for cheap!

Tilt - They're the TiMax series. Powell doesn't make them anymore - all they make is the Tiboron II now. They do look alike, if not a perfect match.

If I had to pick a Sage to compare action with, I'd say XP, with a stiffer butt. My 8wt is a beast, but is pretty light. I know I'm gonna wind up kicking myself for not grabbing these....
