Do any of you Harry Middleton fans know if a book exists entitled "Elias Wonder, Human Lightning Rod"? I once came across a reference to it on the internet but have never seen anything more about it. I understand too that Meadow Run Press had considered a new release of some of Middleton's work but not a re-release of the Starlight Creek Angling Society.

To my knowledge, there is no book, "Elias Wonder, Human Lightning Rod." I think this was one of the ways Middleton referred to him in "The Earth is Enough," which is a truly wonderful, wonderful book. If you haven't read it, I most highly recommend it. Though technically not a fly-fishing book, it is a book that I think nearly all fly-fishermen will like. Also, Middleton's "On the Spine of Time" about fishing experiences in the Smokies is a fine read. It is tragic that Middleton died so young.
