Angler Management by Jack Ohman

I found Angler Management an enjoyable read. Ohman is best known as a cartoonist, and some of his cartoons appear in this collection of vignettes and humor pieces. With so many fly-fishing books being ultra-serious, it was nice to read a group of pieces that are on the lighter side and that show that fly-fishing is supposed to be fun. This is one that I put my name in and will keep in my fishing library.

Glad you enjoyed it. Like you said, there are so many ultra-serious books on the market out there. I think they sometimes miss the point why we fish. In my case, fly fishlng with my Dad, whom I worked with in our machine shop, was about getting away for a couple hours and not think about work. As soon as we got in the truck, you never mentioned work, conversation was mainly about where we were going to fish, the scenery, the next gun show to go to etc... Glad you liked it rrt and a happy healthy New Year to you. Matt
