I haven't been to the Susquehanna, near Harrisburg,to fish for smallies in years because I heard the fishing is bad. Has it improved? Does anyone know if the white fly hatch is still productive? If so, when? where? I'd really like to land some of those smallies. FYI - The tricos are on the Tully and the fishing is a blast! Thanks in advance for any help. Dan

Dan, We have a forum devoted to warmwater flyfishing topics. You'll find a discussion of the Susquehanna's problems there. In a nutshell, things don't look good right now. We've lost years worth of spawning and the population is really in decline.
