I just checked the Slate Run Tacle Shop web site. the web site state that the pine creek will have a delayed harvest section starting Jan. 1, 2007. Says it be from Naval run to 1.3 miles up stream. not sure were that put the begining, but probably some where around the mouth of slate run. not sure if this was posted already. just thought i would mention.

I don't see anything on the PFBC Web Site about it, but here is the proposal,
"Slate Run and go down stream 1.3 miles to Naval run."
Navel Run comeinto Pine below Slate Run on the Western side of the big creek. It is a Class A stream with a mixed population of browns and brookies.
I don't believe it will go into effect until 2008 though, unless PFBC pushes it through really fast, and they don't usually do that.
I went back and looked again and found the Proposed Rulemaking dated 6/6/06. There is another section proposed also;
"Tioga Pine Creek
From Darling Run downstream 1.0 miles to a point 150 meters downstream from the confluence of Owassee Slide Hollow, a distance of 1.0 miles."
There is a PFBC Meeting in Sept, hopefully they will both pass this time around and be in place for 2007.

There are three different Pine Creeks that have Delayed Harvest Regulations for 2013

Pine Creek Section 6 - Tioga County
Upstream Limit - CONF WITH DARLING RN
Dowonstream Limit - 150M DNSTRM CONFL WITH OWASSEE SLIDE RN

Pine Creek Section 11 - Lycoming County
Upstream Limit - CONFL. W/ SLATE RN
Dowonstream Limit - 150 M UPSTRM CONFL W/ NAVAL RN

Pine Creek Section 5 - Allegheny County
Upstream Limit - ABANDON RR BRG T 575 AND DUNCA
Dowonstream Limit - 150 M DNS OF SR 4019 BRG

I've been working on updates for 2013 GPS Fishing Guide so I thought I'd answer this question. There are a lot of Pine Creeks in Pennsylvania so it's tough to say if the one you are talking about is included but this is the list.

UFM,
This question is several years old. The Pine Creek DHALO being dicsussed (this is the one in Lycoming County) was approved several years ago at the original time of this thread.

It's okay to re-fresh old threads from time to time (I do it too) but it's worth remembering that some of the material is dated and re-freshing an old thread to answer a question that has long ago been answered can cause confusion.

Thanks Fishidiot

I'm still learining about this site. I haven't checked in that often and when I do, I usually don't have that much time. Unfortunately I didn't see any year listed on the posting dates so I didn't realize how old this thread was.

I will be paying more attention now that I just finished the data updates for the Fishing Guides. This site is probably my best window into those who use my products and I want to be a part of it.
