little Spring nCreek

I took my first outing of the year today to Little Spring Creek. Caught some creek chubs and had a good time.

I was nymphing but next time out will try some dries there for the native browns...

You mean just plain old regular spring creek in Harrisburg? If that's the case I would say that given the amount of baitfish and suckers in the stream that the trout aren't looking up very often. I've done my best there swinging streamers when the water levels were up.

I agree with HopBack.
If that is the spring creek you are referencing and you want to catch one, leave the dries at home. Toss a brown streamer.
