A little background on that fish:
Caught by Tom Draher who is a friend of mine. Doesn't surprise me at all that he caught ANOTHER big fish. Tom is a very good fisherman.
The fish was 27 1/2" long. Caught on a fly called Don's Sculpin. The fly was originated by Don Douple (probably the most knowledgeable fisherman in the state). Before anyone gets their undies in a bunch, Tom was careful while handling it to not touch the gills of the fish. It was out of the water for only a few seconds and then released. That fish was caught this morning, almost directly behind the Little Lehigh Fly Shop. The water was off color - best conditions to catch a big brown during daylight hours down there.

Nice fish, it doesn't surprise me that there are fish in there like that, I've seen a few monsters myself upstream for that spot. Don will be proud to know that his sculpin works for people other than himself and me. I was with him the first time he used it, we caught a ton of big brook trout on it in the rain. Great pics of a great fish.

all i can say is WOW! :-o
