Weather wise, nothing surprises me anymore. The cooler temps and less humidity will be much appreciated though.

We've had heavy downpours and flooding the past 3 days now. Looks like it's over now also. Been one wet summer for sure though

It depends very much on where you are, Mt. Pocono only had a half inch of rain, Lehigh Valley about an in ch in some places other places less. Reading recorded .12 inches These are by definition scattered stroms. The best way to tell what fell in rainfall is still the stream flows at USGS.

.12 in Reading when? My in ground pool overflowed night before last, with over 2". I guess I should start making private message posts about it.

i think thats what they call localised heavy storms/flash floods.

Jdaddy, that would probably be at Reading Airport. Localized heavy rains means just that. I was out Tuesday and saw a big black cloud that looked like it was headed my way, but I never saw a drop of rain, a mile further up the road and everything was wet, but it wasn't raining. On the other side of the mountain it was pouring. Storm only lasted 5 minutes.
