I think the guy that gets credit for the muddler minnow is Don Gapen, does anyone know who gets credit for the wooley bugger......inquiring minds want to know.

I met him... actually, he is in the Doc Fritchey Chapter of TU. So I met him on several occasions. He's a very modest guy and never wanted a lot of acclaim for his invention. Which is really cool, when you consider you can't open a flybox without seeing a couple Wooleybuggers in there. Everyone uses them for just about everything. His daughter named the fly. He held it up and she said.. "Gee that's one wooley bugger" or something like that. He was trying to imitate hellgremites. I think he did a good job!
