I though the same thing when I seen it on the local news tonight, almost fell off the couch when they interviewed the sheriff and he said, " I know stupid isn't against the law, but if it was was there would be a 100+ guys being cited right now!! Now that was funny!!

You mean you never flyfished a big river in wintertime where you had to keep one eye downstream on the drift and one upstream watching for broken off icebergs of anchor ice?
Younger generation must be getting soft[he says from Florida].

I heard they were all Republicans!

Drifting aimlessely??

Just kidding, well hey were smart enough not to be on thin ice!

Hey guys they make things called BOATS not a new invention but to some it may be. On a local note you usualy can tell the " old salts", they cast into deep water not wade into it.

boats don't work when the water is frozen and 2 ft thick...

Tom river rescue's #1 rescue tool is a boat. I froze for three days taking a cold water immersion rescue class and the boat is the center piece for every thing else. The most fun is when its your time to be the dummys and they put you in the c.w.e.s.s. and you bob around until the calvary shows up. Its fun ya gotta try it.

Hmmm. Ice fishing in a boat? I suppose it could be done, but it might be a little tough drilling a hole with a hand auger.;-)
