Hello all,

I'm having trouble landing some Rainbows!!! They reside in a local creek, where I live. I'm sure their left over stockies?!? Seeing how bows aren't native, anyway, I don't know what there eating??? I searched the creek for aquatic insects and had a hard time finding something! A buddy pointed me to a water quality website that listed macroinvertebrates from the 1st most abundant to the 10th abundant. Anyway, it says midges are the best? I threw everything in the book, san juans, green weenie, buggers, copper johns, prince nymphs, NOTHING!!!! Not even a curios look!! Its like there zombies!?!?! I have yet to try midges. Suggestions??? Thanks guys

if they ae acting like zombies........try a brain fly
on a more serious note, if the stream lacks aquatic insect life, they may have been surviving all this time on terrestrials. try a submerged ant or beatle.
