Resized Image

-Won't say where or when but it was local and recent. Gear is a 7.5 foot 4 wt. Bass Pro Hobbs Creek with an older LL Bean Streamlight click/pawl reel. Line is an older Air Cell Ultra 2 (!). Business end was a Shenk's white streamer. Just goes to show it ain't the equipment, it is more technique. I'll be posting more imagery as time permits. JG

Your technique appears to be about 15 inches.

lovely fish - a simple outfit is what a lot of the outdoorsmen use in Maine, Vermont, Virginia, Tennessee etc. they do the job just fine.

this tickled me last week when i looked up the store name for the Maine Brookie thread - this is the biggest and only outdoors store for a 100 miles around that part of Northern NH & Western Maine. Check out their entire fly rod selection :

Nice fish! I love fishing my 3wt with the classic CFO I reel. Landed 15" & 17" browns with her today. Such a fun way to fish. Keep up the good work!
