I love my tying room as I know all of you do as well. I've been prepping materials for a swap and I wanted to share "well" the view from my tying chair.

If anyone has one you'd like to share I think it would be cool to see.

Hah, I live with my girl in an apartment, so I got a corner desk from Target. However, using the white wall as a background is good for checking on my profiles.

You would probably catch more fish if you didn't tie your flies upside down.

I love to tie when the snow flies but haven't gotten the mojo yet, I'll post a photo deeper in the season when I'm goin full bore. Exactly what pattern do you use that dollar bill in?

Lol, I didn't realize that was in the shot until I posted the pic. That represents the first dollar I made selling flies. ( probably the only one) It meant a lot to me that someone saw the fly I posted awhile back and was willing to pay for my ties, that probably sounds stupid but that kind of thing means something to me. It's that kind of thing that brought me to do this post, every first winters snow (and everyone after)I always marvel at the fact that I'm lucky enough to have this. So... I am feeling comfortable enough in this forum that I wanted to show all of you. After I posted it I realized that this might come off as bragging about it, this was by no means the case and I hope no one takes it that way.

You weren't bragging, just sharing the love. I live on a postage stamp lot, but it's my postage stamp all the same.

My tying room is a sad looking place. But it is is mine.

I can't really sit there for more than an hour. The ideal place would have beautious views like the ones pictured here, but also a computer monitor and television-- and a hot-plate, and a girl.

nice pictures.

i have my Desk up against a window too - it must be something cerebral that we want to look out at nature while we get ready for it perhaps ?

I have been in Jacks(lv2nymph) tying room. Better stocked than some fly shops. He has one wall covered with a Pa Gatzetteer cut apart and glued together showing the whole State pretty cool.

Nice set ups and views.

I just have a corner of the piano room and my view out the nearest window is of the neighbor's house. The downside of living in town

That's one heck of a view ya got there Bob. Geebee, I agree about looking out of a window there is something to it. Roger, my father inlaw refers to my tying room as the "war" room because of that map.Out of curiosity does the first pic show upside down on everyone's phone?
