While fishing the Tully the other day I watched a blue heron take a 12" rainbow and 15 minutes later take another. I was wondering if anyone else experienced this lately.

During the trico hatch last summer, I saw a heron eat so many fish that he couldn't get airborne. When startled, he ran for the brush.
