Do you know what a love letter from Frank is?

He'll send you a love letter, straight from his heart.

Then there are people like me who just don't care.

Master, I think Frank will provide proof in some cases. I've heard people on here say they took him up on it and spent a day on the stream with him and were impressed. You almost need running shoes to keep up, and he does catch a lot of fish.

But I doubt anyone would get an invite if they were being confrontational.

Have I ever been asked? The answer is in the previous paragraph.

I'm just not interested in competitive fishing.

I understand it, I just don't partake in it. On the other hand, some people don't seem to understand why I prefer fly fishing over spinner fishing even though in most cases spinner fishing would get me bigger numbers.

I'll fish with my younger brother, and I'll almost always fly fish while he fishes spinners. He almost always catches more than me and of course rubs it in. It's what little brother's do. But I still fly fish, and take my lumps, and then return the favor on the golf course. Besides, I'm the one who showed him how to spin fish. I didn't show him how to golf.

Re: Frank. He's a touch too arrogant for my tastes, and that's sayin' something. He seems to incorrectly think that his inflated self-image gives him basis for authority in making claims. That's my take on it, and it seems as though I'm not alone. That's the long and short of it for those of you that haven't been following along.

Counting: It's for work and elementary school. No thanks.

I like that Jay, but would end the statement with this:

Counting: It's for work and elementary school, not for fishing or drinking beer.

I count, even the skunks.I do have some memory loss.
I met a guy years back that actually ran up a stream, rock hopping and casting a spinner as he ran.The guy was a machine.Talk about numbers and size of fish.
Golf,a sport? where you count and the lowest number wins, oximoron sport? GG

Counted 15 yrs ago. Don't count now. I'm catching fish or not catching squat. Pretty simple.

As for the moving part, when wading, I tend to grow roots. When floating, the train never stops. JayL will testify that I could / would nymph 9 miles of river in 5 hrs without ever leaving the boat.

gfen,
Sorry to see that ticket from the WW JAM. That sucks. You should have told the cop "Look, you let me go with just a warning, I'll see that your soul won't burn in hell". Worked for me once. The other 30 times I got a nightstick to the ear. LMAO

I admit it, I'm lost. If its a Blue Velvet thing, I claim chemical confusion. If its RHPS, I claim actual hatred of the thing.

Oh, and....Say it! "-pation!"

I didn't have my clergy sign in the window, though.

Meh, I was in the wrong. Baffled by the light, but in daylight it makes more sense (thanks, Google Street View). The guy let me off without the blowing-the-light ticket, so there's no points and I guess no insurance ding, so I can't complain. Still, how a $25 fine becomes $109 is a pretty amazing process....

When I called my wife to tell her why I was STILL on the road with no end in sight, and the ticket, she asked me if the fishing was worth it...

Rocky Horror . . . .

Frank'n'furter: Do you have any tattoos?
Brad: (disgusted): Certainly not.

Just figured with your tattoos and all that it fit, but now that I am having to 'splain myself I feel stupid.

Don't, you're not the first person to assume I liked RHPS, and have been quite wrong on it.
