Yesterday was fantastic on Elk. She is getting back to low and clear already. Right now there is rain in the forecast for the next couple of days, but it ain't much. Not sure if it will help. Hopefully more falls than is currently projected.

I did go today, water was perfect for my taste. Did pretty well from sun up til about noon. Pretty cold in the am, tomorrow I'll be putting Chapstick on my guides no doubt. Landed prob a third of the fish I would normally if I had them clear.

I'll be there Friday as well. Looking forward to getting who knows what disease from biting the ice off my guides.

I hope that helps you all out. Remember the fish will be in the tribs through spring. Don't risk your life traveling for fish in these conditions.

Thank you for the weather report, it will help a lot of people out.

Fortunately, it sounds like most of the heavy stuff will have fallen by Thursday morning, and it will only be a few inches at a time, and not like 6-10 inches in one storm.

I'll say, the forecast definitely changed from when I saw it yesterday. Went from a few inches of snow each day, to about 4 to 8 tonight alone.
