Hit a few of my favorite streams today got some half decent underwater pictures. I am sure it a very interest sight watching me trying to get these pictures on the stream. Landed 15 fish in half a day which for me is awesome. Slow steady Sulphur hatch in the late morning and midge nymph in the early am. Gonna be out again on Tuesday and Weds if the weather still looks as good as it is saying right now.

i love that 2nd pic.

are those white fringe tips on the fins unique to PA fish. I never have seen that anywhere else. i think the strains here have a little char DNA in them...

No, it's common on wild brown trout in the East and West. It is generally less noticeable on older, larger browns. It is not found on brook trout (the white edge on the dorsal) but is common on wild rainbows.

i never have seen it in MA, NH, ME or CT. or in Ireland or the UK. I guess they would be 'german' browns then. i just noticed it this year...

What are ya taking these with??? I've got a go pro that I keep in my vest just in case but it doesn't take pics that clear underwater, course I'm not fishing gin clear streams either. Maybe I need to replace the lens cover on the housing and mess with the settings a bit.

Are these like full sun mid day pics too or low light evening pics??

It is a Fujifilm WP camera, water was pretty clear caught around 5pm or so.
