I mainly fish for wild trout, but I will always enjoy opening weekend with my family. Fishing for stocked trout is how I grew up and how I gained expereince trout fishing. That is exactly how I want my kids to grow up also. So personally, I am all for keeping the hatcheries open. Why not keep the traditons of the past alive? I dont see why we need to get rid of the stocking program.

If someone strictly fishes for wild trout, then they should not care. If stocking ended, a major portion of the fishing reports on here would cease to exist.....How many people on here fish DHALO areas and are catching planters. I know I catch plenty of them and I have enjoyed catching every stockie that I have ever caught.
