I was lucky to catch the same brookie I posted back on 5/18/14 (Yes the one that should NOT be in the stream). I was also lucky to have my fishin bud along to snap a couple nice photos. It hit a 4.5 inch streamer hard. I t looks well fed…and the colors are still crazy!

Sounds like a replica should be made of that one for your wall!
 
That is bigger than 15 inches a real trophy, congrats.
 
^ I would agree.. 8" is pretty standard for cork handles.. give or take an inch depending on size..
 
Here is a quick link to Hi-Res images that includes photos from the first time the fish was caught (5/18).

The rod is elevated on my knee. The Rod is a St. Croix Bank Robber 6wt. The cork is 7" and battle butt to end of cork is 11". The fish was measure the first time at 11.5"

The silvery mirror like reflectivity and washed out coloration are what make this fish interesting. Additionally, the reasons previously mentioned about the stream being only inhabited by brown trout.

The recent 21" brown trout I posted came from about 50 feet down stream.
