Season Open?

this may be a stupid question, but im fresh off the trapping season and predator calling so im a bit rusty on flyfishing at the moment. i was wondering if i could still go down to a designated trout water creek and fish it.

You can still fish it. Keep in mind that the bag limit is three fish instead of five. On March 1st the streams listed as designated trout water are closed to all fishing until opening day. Streams with special regulations like fly fishing only, delayed harvest, Heritage, etc can be fished during the closed season on a catch and release basis. These special reg areas are listed in your rules and regs book and the sections of stream themselves are usually marked with signs posted on trees. Good luck
