Oh I know where that is. Used to fish that area a lot when I was in High School. Haven't fished there in about 15 years.

How was it back then??

I've only fished it a few times this year but I haven't been skunked yet so that's a plus ha.

People used to swim at the rocks then too I assume??? Place turns into a party spot in the heat of the summer.

Sidenote: I had a buddy that kayaked it a few years ago after rain.......does that mean it counts as navigable? haha

It used to get crowded when it was stocked but pressure dropped off fast. I worked with a guy that lives near there that swore there were still trout left there. I just don't get down there too often anymore.

I think people have always swam at those rocks. As well as partying.

Thats a nice stream. I havnt fished it for a year or so. Used to do pretty well there. I know exactly where that brown came from. Ive had it swim by me a few times. It usually had a few smaller trout following it.

Nice one there.

I don't know if it's that blacktop or the moisture or temp difference from the creek, but that road gets slick as hell on winter days when other roads ain't as bad.

If that was my place at the corner I'd sit on the porch at 2am and watch the action. Doesn't help there is a bar basically at the end of the road.

That first pic isn't stocked. The second one from the same location, not sure, but I doubt it.

I'm no expert in determining the "shopped or not" question. And someone very well may feed them.

I've never fished it, but based on the context clues, I figured I knew where it was. Went on google maps and bam, there's the house and trailer, so I guess I got it right.

I found the camper too. It's the stream I thought it was. Knowing the stream for sure now, odds are those fish were born in the stream...whether they've been artificially fattened up is another matter.

I actually surveyed the property with the trailer and the property across the street and downstream 25 and 24 years ago. And I partied on the rocks for the last time 29 years ago. Nuts! Now I'm feeling old.

I was sure from all the clues that I knew what stream it is and I also looked on google maps and sure enough there it was. Nice stream, first time I fished it I caught a wild brown on the first drift. I've caught a lot wilds there but no monsters like those but it is quality water. Fun thread.
