Does anyone know if PSU changed the web address for their Nat Repro streams? The link I have comes up but just a few black dots but no streams. The Class A site works fine but not this one.

If you know the new site and don't want to post it, please PM me.

Thanks,
Fox

Hmm, I see what you mean. Here's the page where you can get all the maps.

http://www.pasda.psu.edu/uci/SearchResults.aspx?originator=Pennsylvania%20Fish%20and%20Boat%20Commission&Keyword=&searchType=originator&entry=PASDA&sessionID=19696427220154813819

I noticed a few weeks ago, the google maps interface no longer worked (gives black dots as you say). That's the interface where you click the lightning bolt, and takes you here:

http://maps.psiee.psu.edu/preview/map.ashx?layer=980

But, using the PA Atlas site (clicking the globe), it still worked. Now, that's no longer working either. FWIW, that one takes you here:

http://maps.psiee.psu.edu/paatlas/

Edit: Nevermind, this does work. You just have to go to show layers, wildlife, and check trout natural reproduction. It used to be checked by default, now you have to do it manually.

Wonder if they're playing with the databases to try to get things to work on their new Android app, and in the process changed something so that things change on other interfaces as well? I haven't looked at the Android app yet. It'd be cool if they had the natural repro list there.

Thanks Pat. I'll use this until they hopefully get the other link fixed.

This was discovered and discussed a few weeks ago on here.

I found the original NR Map now comes up under the label of "Stocked Trout Streams"

Thanks. Sorry to repeat a topic already discussed.

Ya gotta hang around here more, George....no more MIA. ;-)

I can't get any directional arrows to zoom in to a specific area or stream with this map
Can only zoom in to the center of the state and out again.
Am I missing something here?
I remember using it years ago, and being able to zoom in anywhere in the state

You need to first click on the spot you would like to zoom in on. Then use the zoom in/out.

So true my friend. I got so busy I never contacted you about a brookie trip last year. My bad, we'll get out this year..............He says :)

You can click to center, then zoom.

You can just drag the map around (left click, hold, drag).

Or you can double click, and it'll zoom in on where you clicked. Double click again, and it'll zoom in more.

Very possible it's not "mobile friendly", haven't tried that site on the phone yet.

And P.S., guess this thread brought it to someone's attention?

The google maps version works again. See my 2nd link.

And Afish's link, which showed the natural repro but claimed to show stocked trout streams, now shows, well, stocked trout streams as it's supposed to.

Thanks guys!

You'd think they could have mentioned how to navigate it somewhere for those of us who aren't very computer savvy.

It did have the arrows years ago. Then they just disappeared one day - with no further explanation on use

Well that sucks because the Nat repro link still shows nothing but black dots so i planned to use the stocked link. Well at least Pasda still works.

Well Pat, you are right. Someone's paying attention to this thread. The PSU link now works.
