laszlo, browns are not native to the U.S. They come form germany. The only native species of trout to PA is the Brook Trout, which is actually a char.
Brown trout are also native to England. They are however a different strain than the german browns. Both were imported and stocked in our streams.

better watch out sandfly this could start a ruckus. LOL

I say all browns and rainbows are invasive even if they are wild!
