I left home for work at 5:30am today. Drove down the the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, was told the day was cancelled due to weather, and proceeded to turn around and drive home. My boss was cool enough to tell me not to even worry about coming into the office. I knew exactly what I was going to do since I just received my new 5wt St. Croix Bank Robber in the mail yesterday. This is my first "nice rod" (i.e. over $150) and here's my first fish on it. My biggest non-erie trout, taped out to 20". Released to swim another day, I'm sure some people can figure out where it is based on the erosion mat on the banks but I'll let you figure that out.

Nice fish. Congrats and I'd say good luck with the new rod but....

Your living room carpet?

Confession: It's a gillnet.

I was wondering why that fish was laying on a doormat. LOL

That is a beast of a fish!
