Muddy Creek

Has anyone hit Muddy Creek lately? I was wondering how it survived the late heat. Any october hatches? Thanks!

I fished it a couple weeks ago when it was in the high 60s and it was not very good fishing. Water was/is painfully low and clear. With the cooler night time temps thinks should be picking up though.

If you have the itch, the South Branch stays cooler and supports wild browns year around. Fish the spring stocked section for holdovers and wild trout or knock on doors in the Class A stretch.
