Does anyone know who makes the Huss Lures or a web address for the company.
Sorry about this being off subject but I really need to get this information.

From what I gather the Huss is a (bull huss) or greater spotted dogfish. An ocean species. Lures to catch them is what I guess you are querying?

I think its the jigging spoons that you're talking about which are made by Luhr-Jensen. They have a website and you can order in bulk from them.

shipnfish beat me to it! When I was a spin fisher in my youth, that was my go-to lure. Very productive on the Yough here in West Newton. Good luck casting that with a 5wt????? :-D

When I was a spin fisherman that was my "secret" lure that once my friends figured out what it was each had them too. We'd go to Dicks and buy every last one in stock. I eventually started buying them off the Luhr-Jensen website. I crushed them in the gold. I still have a couple of them around and every now and then if a non fly fishing friend wants to go out I'll bring them along for my friends to use.

I used a similar lure. The niti-1 trout killer from Pcola's lures.

I spin fish once a year, on the first day. I must've caught 30+ of them on this thing. If you still spin fish, check them out.

Wow I just looked on the Luhr-Jensen website and they mention the Huss lure, but I don't see it anywhere on their website. I know Dick's and Bass Pro still sells them at the stores.

Upon further research I have found that the lure has been discontinued! :-o That blows...

Wow,, Discontinued??? There will be a lot of upset fisherman on the Yough this spring!!! Gold and silver were killers for me.
