I hit up a few hidden brookie streams in Lancaster today (saturday 9/29) for about five hours and was rewarded with five healthy brookies ranging from 6-9". They were caught on either #16 stimulator or a #14 black crystal wooly bugger. Water was very low in both streams but very cold and the fish definitely didn't seem to mind. Saw several other brookies just hanging around, one was a hefty looking fish of about 10-11".

Sorry no pics because I forgot the camera this time out.

Sounds like a lot of fun. However, please read the stickie notes on the top of the Stream Reports Forum regarding the format and content of stream reports. I have moved this thread to the General Forum.

If a report does not identify the stream, but does identify the area, such as this one, it may be an acceptable stream report is information about flows, weather, hatches, etc. is included so that a reader may get some useful information even though they cannot relate the info to a particular stream. While it was a close call and my judgment may be flawed, I believe the above report is more appropriate for the General Forum or maybe even the Stream Locations Forum. Dave Kile has asked that I keep an eye on the forum to enforce this policy. Thank you for your understanding.

Here are links to the policies in the stickie notes:
